This week kicked off the meal time magic!! What a great start!
I haven't stuck to the menu completely but that is A-ok with me! Whatever makes you guys happy! I think everyone has been pleased with dinner, at least they say they are.
Tomorrow is spicy shrimp pasta so I'm excited about that!!

Christmas is upon us
This is my favorite time of the year for many reasons. Time with family and friends is always my favorite part. Soon I'll have a complete menu section dedicated for Christmas parties.

Monday November 29 *Meal Time Magic begins*
Delivered to you between 5 and 6 pm Monday through Friday, dinner can't get any more simple and healthy!!
We will be changing our menu often, so check back if you don't find what you want. 501-351-7100 call ahead 24 hours
Generous portions made fresh daily with all fresh ingredients (no processed foods) served with rolls and a dessert of the day.
Monday: Chicken and dumplings, corn and green beans 2/$22 4/$42 $8 each additional meal
Tuesday: Meat loaf, Smashed red potatoes with gravy and honey glazed carrots 2/$22 4/$42 $8 each additional meal
Wednesday: Poppy Seed chicken, Sweet potato casserole and green beans almondine
2/$22 4/$42 $8 each additional meal
Thursday: Pork Loin, smashed red potatoes with gravy and corn. 2/$28 4/$54 $12 each additional meal
Friday: Chicken Spaghetti and Caesar salad 2/$18 4/$34 $6 each additional meal

Whipped Potatoes tips
They seem like the easiest things to prepare and really they are, but here are a few tips to making some of the best:
1. use half red potatoes, half russet potatoes and add some salt to the water before you boil the potatoes.
2. don't cut them too small or over cook. They will get mushy with too much water in them. This will also deplete much of the vitamin benefits of the potato.
3. pour into a colander to drain off the water.
4. while the water is draining, warm the milk butter and some sour cream in the pan you cooked the potatoes in.
5. place cooked potatoes back to the pan and add salt and pepper.
6. smash with a potato smasher and then use a hand mixer to fluff.
Voila'!!
(no need for instant potatoes)

Whole wheat pancakes with homemade blueberry syrup
Love the way this house is smelling
Peanut brittle and Pumpkin cream cheese logs sure have a way of making things smell like Thanksgiving.
I should have taken pictures. I have 4 rolls and several bags of brittle ready to go for the Christmas open house at the market tomorrow.
I'm off to get the kids now...things are about to get interesting. Steve will be home late tonight so I think we will pop some corn and order pizza in front of a movie until he gets home.

Cookies for Pandra
Pumpkin nut bars before they are cut.
Pandra is my sweet friend who has just finished her last Chemo and is starting to feel better after a very long drawn out ordeal with moving from HI to GA in the midst of learning about her breast cancer, and having to go through a mastectomy. I think of Pandra everyday and pray that she gets better and better. She isn't 100% yet but is so lucky to have wonderful friends like Charlotte.
